Members of the voluntary "Tyrolean Association of Landlords and Landladies of private rooms" are subject to a stringent quality control system. Worthy establishment are awarded the "edelweiss" as seal of approval in the Tyrol.

2 edelweiss

Establishments designated two edelweiss offer simple, functional rooms with bathrooms/WC. They also serve an extensive breakfast (not applicable for holiday apartments!) and have a common room with TV/radio. One parking space per room is also available (except in towns and cities)

3 edelweiss

Those establishments offer larger rooms, additionally providing hair dryers and radios. Comfort and Quality are priority in this category.

4 edelweiss

This award is reserved for first class accommodation. The rooms, all of which are comfortably and individually furnished, cater to those who are looking for ambience and harmony. Each room is equipped with a TV/radio. Usually, there is a breakfast buffet (not applicable for holiday apartments). Holiday apartments with four edelweiss feature a telephone.

Farm Holidays

The voluntary Members of the "Farm Holiday Association" are being monitored according to 150 different criteria. They are awarded two, three, or four flowers.

2 Flowers

Comfortable rooms with plain, functional furnishing. Bathroom/WC either en-suite or on the same floor. Cosy living in natural surroundings.

3 Flowers

Both rooms and farmhouses are very well-equipped. Usually, bathrooms/WC are en-suite or within the holiday apartment. A perfect spot to relax in comfort.

4 Flowers

Consistently excellent accommodation with all conveniences. Bathrooms/WC en-suite or within the holiday apartment.
