Learn more about the famous cartographer and astronomer Peter Anich from Oberperfuss near Innsbruck, who lived from 1723 - 1766. The Anich-Hueber-Museum in Oberperfuss in Kühtai Sellraintal provides detailed information about the life of Peter Anich and his assistant Blasius Hueber.

Visit our museum and learn about Peter Anich (1723 - 1766), who rose from a poor farmer's son to a famous cartographer and astronomer. Peter Anich's birthplace is situated in Oberperfuss, and one of the very first sundials he constructed can be found here, too. The museum also shows maps, mathematical instruments, and the famous globes Peter Anich constructed. Works done by Anich's assistant Blasius Hueber are also on show.
A further part of the museum is dedicated to organ builder Franz Weber (1825 - 1914). Two of his organs are on show.
