Gries im Sellraintal is located in the middle of the Sellrain Valley, 25km/16 miles west of Innsbruck. The village offers a blend of hospitality, tradition, recreation and nature, a perfect mixture for a relaxing holiday! It is the starting point for many hikes, walks and challenging summit climbs.

Gries has an excellent infrastructure: Inns and restaurants offer delicious food, while Hubert Plunser's village store provides for most other needs. Get your hair done at the local hairdreser's shop which also offers beautician's treatments. Furthermore there is a tennis court, beach volleyball court, playground and more.
