Traditions, customs and celebrations in the Kühtai - Sellraintal region. Traditional events form a top priority within the cultural life of the destination near Innsbruck.
Customs in the Sellrain Valley is an active part of our life.
We do not "do" traditions in the Sellrain Valley, we live them. Every village has several clubs and societies dedicated to preserving local customs. Apart from open-air concerts and traditional Tyrolean evenings, processions are opportunities to witness the locals wearing their beautiful traditional clothing. Additionally, there are village fairs as well as "Almfeste", festivals held at alpine pasture lodges: Unique experiences for our guests.
